So what is PL8?
PL8 (yes, spelled PL8) is the first product out of Moxie's AI innovation lab. The short version: it lets restaurant owners create high-quality, consistent food photography without hiring a photographer, renting a studio, or waiting three weeks for edited shots.
A professional food shoot can run tens of thousands of dollars. Most independent restaurant owners don't have that — and even the ones who do don't want to go through the whole process every time they update the menu. PL8 gets you there in minutes.

Under the hood, PL8 runs on Flux 2 Pro (Black Forest Labs) for image generation, Llama 3.3 70B for suggestions, and GPT OSS 120b for prompt enhancement — keeping your imagery consistent across every dish — not just one great shot surrounded by mediocre ones. That consistency piece is what makes it actually useful for a real menu.
