We are industry veterans with experience spanning over 20 years each and specialize in building out websites, mobile apps, custom digital platforms, digital marketing programs, Alexa skills, etc. We are looking for an experienced front-end engineer to help us build dynamic, performant, and beautiful front-end experiences for our clients.

Job Brief

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX designs from Figma into fully functionally front-end experiences that will wow our clients. You will work with the UI/UX, QA, and the rest of the engineering team in a collaborative, laid-back, team-driven environment. We look for passionate engineers who love to solve problems, build solutions, and launch engaging products. Primary Tech Stack: While you may be called upon to work in a variety of different frameworks and libraries, at Moxie our primary tech stack is as follows: -React and NextJS -NodeJS on the backend -Tailwind CSS -Sanity.io Headless CMS -AWS for all cloud services -Github

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop fully featured websites from functional requirement documentation and designs.
• Maintain and manage existing websites.
• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize web sites/application to maximize speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Ensure web design is optimized for responsive
• Maintain development and testing best practices throughout the development process
• Participate in sprint planning and daily stand up meetings.

WE SHOULD TALK IF YOU HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
• Proficient understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript
• Proficient experience with ReactJS and/or NextJS
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Experience with integrating RESTful Services and APIs into websites.
• Familiar with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress or Jest.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient working knowledge of Git
• Have experience working with a headless CMS such as Sanity, Contentful, Strapi, etc.
• Comfortable working in the terminal to leverage various third-party CLIs
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
